Testimony of trusting God for Healing

The year 2017 was a challenging year for my family and me. We went through a rough season. 

 I was diagnosed with cancer on March 21, 2017, on my daughter’s birthday. It was something unexpected. I heard and prayed for people with cancer but never had the experience myself. The name cancer sounds heavy to the point I thought, “I was going to die.”  

I remember an early Saturday morning alone in my hospital room. My heart was heavy. I felt that I was not ready to die yet. 

 Because I was thinking about my daughter if she would continue serving the Lord if I die. I wanted to see her finish college and have a career before I die. I also was concern about the guy she is going to marry.  

 At that moment, I went before the Lord and laid all my anxiety into his hands. I was weeping. 

 I expressed myself to the Lord. I said, Lord, “I’m afraid to die,” and I was. I immediately told my feelings to the Lord; a thought came to my mind that my life and my future were in His hands. I did not need to be afraid.  

Then I said, “Lord if you want to take my life today, I’m ready to go. “Here I’m, take me home. 

 After I prayed, I had a profound inward peace and freedom in my spirit. I could rest and trust and later be healed of cancer.
